After Orlando for 9 days, we were looking for a quiet, scenic resort to slow down and rest before traveling on to New Orleans. We found such a place at Alliance Hill RV Resort. A beautiful gated campground with full hookup pull through sites. Glenn met us at the gate and escorted us to our site. Glenn has developed the area with the accommodations that campers are looking for. A full laundry, showers, kitchen w/ frig and microwave, big screen dish tv, sofa and chairs, and a beautiful relaxing pool with padded chairs. Glenn is customer oriented and responsive to your needs. We will definitely recommend to our friends who are traveling to Florida.
This RV park was a gem of a park for us. We prearranged arrival time with Glenn the owner as he lives off site but was always available by phone for questions.
When we arrived, Glenn was waiting and got us registered and booked in.
Glenn was a very interesting gentleman who we had an informed discussion with. Very pleasant!
The main building “living room” was very nicely appointed and allowed for a relaxed atmosphere with the great furnishings. The spacious and excellently tiled washrooms/showers were a real pleasure to use and did feel like a luxury for a campground. There was a good laundry area and the outdoor pool area was perfect with the pool. I walked the area downhill of the campsites and back up through the mature pine forest, part of the 60 acre campground. A stunning forest!
Full Hookups were at the sites
It appears all new and Glenn is obviously working towards completing the finishing details required.
This is a gated park.
While we were there there were 3 other units and were had the main building to ourselves.
We loved the large lots and if in the area would definitely return.
Points to keep in mind, although Good Sam site says complimentary breakfast it was not there the day we were, each site has a cable connection which is not advertised and is not yet working at our site but shows as a point Glenn is working towards which will be nice and the WIFI only works at the main building not at the site.
Glenn is turning this into a very unique resort campground. – Daisy N
Lovely, well kept campground in serene country setting. Spacious pull-thru campsites that can accommodate any size camper/motorhome. Currently only 14 sites but owner plans to expand. I’d definitely stay here again. – Carla W.
As we drove up to the campground I found through Passport America, I could only smile at the peaceful view before me. The website described it as a resting place half way between Central FL and New Orleans. It is about 7 miles off I-10 on a hard road meandering through farmland and pines. Glenn, the owner has a phone number that he requests you call or text ahead of time to request availability. It was after normal hours so he met us at the gate. Full hookups, large concrete pads surrounded by manicured grass. The clubhouse is new, clean, equipped with microwaves, big screen tv with satellite, comfortable seating…a nice place to hang out for a little while. There are 2 large shower/restrooms in the clubhouse. We swam in the pool out back for which was clean and had a good view of our Florida sunset through the trees. I highly recommend this spot for a peaceful place to rest!
What a gem this park is. Just a beautiful location. Sites are large, paved and level with landscaping and a picnic table. Clubhouse is beautiful, the pool is stunning and it’s quiet and peaceful. We had a great stay and will definitely be back when we pass through that way again.
